Aunt Regina was born in 1916, in Istanbul, Turkey, to Eliya and Zimbul Gambash. She was their youngest daughter. She had two brothers (Nisim and Mordo) and sister (Fortune).

She married Uncle Avraham Sarfati, in synagogue "Zulfaris" in Istanbul, in 1953. At that time Uncle Avraham was a citizen of Israel. After the wedding, Aunt Regina made Aliyah to Israel and they settled in Tel Aviv.

Aunt Regina and Uncle Avraham had no children.

Aunt Regina widowed in 1997.

In 2005, she moved into Recanati nursing home in Petah Tikva.

Aunt Regina passed away in the nursing home, on September 1, 2009. Her grave is in Holon cemetery, nearby Uncle Avraham's tomb.
